The Big Bang - Cover for BANG!
The cover of BANG! is a lenticular (animated) image of the BIG BANG explosion (try and catch a view of it in the book shops - it is quite unique!) Of course we are not suggesting the Big Bang actually looked like this - it would be impossible to view the big bang since outside the universe there is no space and time!

The creation of the BANG! cover:
After providing several cover ideas, Brian May took one of my images, edited it in photoshop and so came up with a unique lenticular design - something which knocked me sideways! We then went through a dozen prototypes before we hit on the right combination (which ironically was very close to the original one!) We owe thanks to 3D specialist David Burder for providing excellent sample lenticulars and advice.
