Black Hole
A black hole devouring a cluster of stars. Though black holes have not been directly seen, there is now a great deal of indirect evidence for their presence. All galaxies may have a supermassive black hole in their centre, which generates huge amounts of radiation - until all the nearby mass has been swallowed and the process shuts off.
