Planetary Nebula
- Death of a star
At the end of their lives, comparatively lightweight
stars like our Sun shed dust and gas which collect around the star.
Here we can see
dusty planetary nebula surrounding the star at the end
of its life.
The upper layers will expand and eject material that will collect around the
dying star to form a planetary nebula .
